V-00 Stop! Rescued by an Island! I now name this seemingly before important, repugnant looking Island [[strikethrough]] Rescue [[/strikethrough]] ^[[Preservation]] Island. By it I believe we owe the preservation of our lives! I say 'by it' for of course, the island was but the means [[underlined]] God [[/underlined]] threw in [[underlined]] our course [[/underlined]] for [[underlined]] Preserving us. [[/underlined]]
Yes at hV-m00 Cho (12 Meridian) we did stop! An[[in blue]] ^[[d]] [[/in blue]] O, how thankful that ^[[we]] have been enabled to stop as we have! for this sweeping tide was carrying us just over the tops of shoals that are all around here! [[strikethrough]] [[?]] [[/strikethrough]] I must relate this unexpected [[underlined]] Soul-stirring [[/underlined]] scene as it occured as well as my feeble pen will let me. After we pushed out from the place of leaving Koo-jes-se & Kood-loo, we made all haste to round the Angle made at "Little Peak", where we knew to be shoals that would prove dangerous to us if we delayed. Having passed "Little Peak", which is by the water's edge, we thought the rest of the way a safe one.
