Before arriving at Toong-wine the spot of our 4th encampment the wind freshened up to almost a gale - nearly all sail had to be taken in - the waves beat hard & high occasionally rolling over the side of the Boat. As the spot of landing was to the winward side of the Point it soon became evident we could make no landing there - so Boats were directed S.E. around the land 
We went at nespitt[[guess]] note - finally entered in to a little Cove with the object of making it our 23rd Enc.
Before our Boat had made good landing Miner's party from the advantage of the landing had partly left the Boat Turnong[[guess]] I saw sitting on the tide washed rocks & from appearance I thought she was resting or had met with some mishap [[strikethrough]] of [[/strikethrough]] letting something full: 
We had difficulty to get our Boat up that any one could get out, in the mean time, nearly every Innuit of Miner's Boat had gathered round Tur[[?]]ong. Some
