Edit: It is 'Bud-ville' for Capt. Budington, the Captain of the ship bringing Charles Hall. "Bod-Ville" short for Bodington Ville, a reference that appears several times in the journal, but not that I could find in Hall's book. I could not identify reference other than some relation to Flag Staff Hill.
