                Furled the top gallant side - 11 AM more ships

                top sails -

                Remarks Saturday, Aug 30th
                Fore opart of this day wind light from the Eastward
                & thick weather  - At 12 AM wind light NW
W.              made sail.  A boat came along side from
          N.W.  the Schooner E W Forest bound to Beverly.
                At 4 PM blowing fresh - reefed the top sails
                Ship heading West - heavy swell heaving from
                the Westward - 10 PM more moderate
