Apr 29th GTwo Boats off to-say.
"   30th two boats off to-day. Wind from the Eastward of 1 [[underlioned]]Walrus[[/underlinded
May 1st  This day clam fore part - 2 boats off to-day - some nev er 
         got nothing - latter part wind N.W.
"   2d   This day the wind blowing hard from N.W. - the ice breaking - the
         sledge wentto the ship to-day.
"   3d   Saturday -  the wind light from the NW. - The Pack-ice
         drew in along side the floe so we cannot get the boats off
         to-day - sent the sledge after Coal.
"   4th  Sunday - the wind light from the N.W. - the rations
         often [[?then ?tuk]] to-day in their snow huts melting down
"   5th  Monday - the wind light from W.N.W. & clear - two boats
         off to-day - got a [[underlined]]few ducks. [[/underlined]]
"   6th  Tuesday - the wind light from the N.  - loaded the Boats & moved
         to [[?Ojbigshenping]].  Then went off with 2 Boats & got [[underlined]]a 
         Walrus[[/underlined]]
"   7th  Wednesday - wind light from the NW.  2 Boats off & got [[underlined]]one 
         Walrus[[/underlined]] - Cut a dock for the boats to-day.
"   8th  Thursday - the wind light from the N snowing - 3 boats off after
         Wood
"   9th  Friday - fresh breeze from the N.E. & [[?shoeing]] the boats & Keels to-day.
"  10th  Saturday 11th Sunday - fresh gale from the N.W. the ice breaking
