[[page 217 appears to be the page under the overlay on page 218, but without the text on another white sheet overlay showing as it does on this page]] [[text in pencil, does not appear to be Hall's handwriting]] Rather gruesome send-off from Hall's "friend" Geo T Jones. who donated two blank journals on banknote paper for the expedition. Hall named a mountain for him "Jone's Tower.".
