Miner & Kokingabin each thoroughly acquainted with Resolution Island & the Islands about it & all Kin-gaite coast 
An Island called by Innuits "Sou-nirn" (by Kin-gaite Coast) meaning * buttocks bring a representation of the same brass 88[[degree symbol]]

Koo-tan-koo as the compass is directed by Miner 90[[degree symbol]] not in sight on a/c of its being lower than that near it. Really the S. E. Ex seen of Kin-gaite ^[[bears]] 86[[degree symbol]]; I have request the Innuits to direct the Compass about where they think the place they are familiar with on N. side Hudson's Strait is - the place Kan-mo-wong. They comply with my wishes the direction being on Kin-gaite Mts & Grinnell Glacier 2[[?]] [[degree symbol]]
They now talk & point to me on Kin-gaite side a Bay or Sound wh makes away up into Kin-gaite & thence sweeping around ^[[& out or back again]] forming an Island thus;

Ik-Ki-hi-shou-zen the left entrance bears 47[[degree symbol]] - the right entrance 29[[degree symbol]]. A distant high land on Kin-gaite Coast called Sou-nuk-ju-a bears 83[[degree symbol]]. Ex. E or NE put Resolution Isd 125[[degree symbol]] - 30[[symbol]]
