Bearing of Ne-pun-e-tie & sup-bing from Res-yer-vain 212[[degree symbol]] Bearing of ship's trench 324[[degree symbol]]; Distance 5 x 66 +37 feet (367 feet total). The Reservoir not to be seen quite at ship's trench & vice versa owing to a slight rise just at head ship's trench.
At Ruins of House on top hill, Center Island.
Bearing of Water Trench (Reservoir) Crater 228[[degree symbol]] Ship's trench though not in sight from rise in Island at head of trench (Ship's Trench) 290: Kus-se-geer-ark-ju-a Point wh. is right side [[strikethrough]] at [[/strikethrough]] of the grass plain 352[[degree symbol]]. The nearly Fine weather Kin-gaite still enveloped in fog. Distance from centre stone House to water's edge of Reservoir 3 x 66 + 13 = 261 feet. Dimensions foundation Stone House on Center Kod-lu-narn Isd. Shape as appears after examination & excavation oval shape - longest diameter from outside to outside walls 20 feet.
Foundation from 3 to 3 1/2 feet wide. Stones laid in good white lime cement - the cement exposed to air hard as rock - that under ground friable - have dug down 2 feet & not found bottom of foundation.
Floors of stone & laid in lime cement. Width outside to outside 17 feet shortest diam.
The view from this spot of an extensive & interesting character. No approach can be made to that Island but what a view can be had standing where those ruins are. The Islands Oo-pung-ne-wing, Ni-oun-te-lik - the Cape Twer-tuk-ju-a, Low Land Pass E-tin-nap-ping &c.  -  Sea-ward bet. 3.E and O. & point Sharko. Distance bet. ship's trench (head of it) & House Center Island 6 x 66 feet + 50 feet = 446 feet. Land around Countess of Warwick's Sound as seen from this spot ruins House on Center Kod-lee-narn Oo-pung-ne-wing thus

Ship's trench 65 + 45 = 110 feet length of excavated part. Depth of solid rock at Bluff 13 feet but the trench was originally considerably deeper - rocks have tumbled in from the banks that were thrown out of the excavated material. Width across bottom at opening to sea water 20 feet. Width across top excavated rocks part 30 feet. Middle on apex of Banks one to the other 60 feet - from out edge of one bank to out edge of the other 87 feet. The cut or trend of trench 320[[degree symbol]] x 180. Start IV - 30 Chro (XI - 30 Ac[[?]])
from ship's trench close by wh has been my 3 day of encampment. IV - 42 round Tik-Koo Pt. 3 ms. per h. 
IV - 47 Arrive Ne-h[[?]]-3-tie-sup-bing (3 per h). Depth measured at some 12 feet - it another 25 feet front of Cliffs about 60 to 75 feet perpindicular height best of [[strikethrough]] [[?]] [[/strikethrough]] height to late very abrupt - While height best 100 feet - the fall of cliff 200 to 250 feet along the water (that is wide) [[underlined]] Start V - 00 [[/underlined]] for Ak-ke-le[[?]]-zhun Ned-lu-young the name Point Rt hand side as we turn into Bay leading to Rescue Bay. Too-nook-tung the Innuit name of the Bay or name extends up N Westerly - Stop V - 30 ( 2 1/2 Ms from h) Ook-gook in sight occasionally - Miner on the look - out for it. fires but misses.
