Our short boat trip up Lupton Channel to Rescue Bay to take a look at the prospect of the disposition of the ice of Said Bay & make Obs.
Sight before leaving place of tents. h I - m 43 (s 13) Arrive to entrance Lupton Channel. I - 48 (s 12) to Cape - [Vide Course & said Cape last trip [the one to S E Ex]; 2 - 25 (s 10) opposite Bluff to be seen from tents.

Ex S.E. of Kin-gaite 94°; A Bluff on Pt. that I think to be the 1st above Sharko 340 degrees - this seen over high land [bet. me & it]
The farther end of a small Isd near Sylvia Grinnel's 220 degrees. [Cannot quite see Sylvia Grinnell's it being hid by a bluff on W side Lupton Channel. It cannot be more than 2° or 3° to the Northward of above bearing Ex. Pt as we enter Rescue Bay of Rt side Lupton Channel 219  Can see into R. Bay (toward Davis Strait bet. 218° & 222°.
[[strikethrough]] The small [[/strikethrough]] The small Isd in Lupton C. Bee hive shape near big Isd 204°. Left Tang of the large isd on wh. I made AM obs. when with Smith over 1 year since in going to ship from Og-bier-seer-a-ping 181°; Rt Tang 141. A Pt of Land across Bear Sound 134°
