Transcription Notes:
end page not required on 2nd page or single per instructions Comment from the Transcription Team: It is more challenging to key in special characters, so our instruction ask you not to worry too much about them, just do the best you can. However, when one is able to produce the special characters, we welcome them. As long as the characters look right, we can leave them in place. Thank you. Transcription Center Team To the person/people reviewing my transcriptions and replacing the actual symbol s Hall used [e.g., degree, sun (circumpunct) etc.] with text [[symbol]] etc., reduces the amount of information available to researchers. Hall was using surveying and navigation terms and symbols and should be transcribed (or fully described as symbol for what) as written. By the way the apostrophe as used is not the "feet symbol" but minute. Tell me where you find the instructions you refer to. Leave a note in the Notes section on page 100. Thanks. See page 432 in Hall's book for Ek-ke-lu-zhun.
