Morning. Go to shoestore & S.I. Work over distribution and sundries Home evening hot, don't go out.
Sunday, May 17th
Day Hot. Stay at home & read. Kenneth Clarke with us. Evening call on Mrs. Becker. 
Monday May 18
Morning hot. Go to S.I. work over plates. Home evening severe thunder gust. Read & work over Lang's Textbook.
Tuesday. May 19
Morning hot. Go to S.I. Thunder storm about noon, work over proofs and plates. home, evening rains work over Lang.
Wednesday, May 20
Morning cloudy, cool. Go to the dentists & office, see Gill and Rizer. Then to S.I. work over mail & plates. Home, Miss Lucy Baird dines & spends the evening with us.

Collector Moore & Gov. Swineford are also passengers. Arrive after a rainy passage about 8 P.M. Go on board the Patterson with Capt. Couden and interview Capt. Moore. 
Saturday June 8/95
Take the boat and go along the North shores of Killisnoo looking for fossils, but the bedrock is composed only of contorted schists with quartz & calcite veins. The Patterson's launch arrives in P.M. Go aboard and see Mr. Hoggatt who is surveying in the lagoon and arrange to go up tomorrow at 9 A.M. to look at the Sepphagen and adjacent mines and go on Monday prepared to camp over night and look at the rest.
Sunday June 9th
Leave the Pinta at 9 A.M. and visit several arms of the lagoon with the Brightman brothers
