Morning warm, order drawers at Boston store then to S.I. work over Newcombe's shells all day. Home, evening. The Merriams call.

Saturday, Apr. 18
Morning warm. Call at Chase's & star office & S.I. work over Oldroyd shells. write letters. Home evening go to Biological Society

Sunday, Apr. 19
Very warm. Go to Dr. Boomwells then to Mother's & take her over to [[strikethrough]] dinner [[/strikethrough]] lunch. P.M. read, go over to the Stanley Browns in even. Mr. Bartsch and Mr. & Mrs. Merriam dine with us.

Monday, Apr. 20
Still warm. Finish work on Shepard shells and Ancey exchange. Write letters. Hyatts arrive. Home evening go to club with Hyatt

Sunday June 30/95
Day cloudy. Read in A.M. P.M. Go ashore with B. call on Mrs. Emmons and Mrs. Evans and get our vouchers attested. Later return on board. work on accounts.

Monday, July 1/95
Morning fine, the Topeka comes in about 7 A.M. followed by the Willapa. Go ashore with Capt. Couden, see Young & others then back to breakfast. Later get mail, go aboard and make up mail to go down. P.M. go ashore with Capt. Couden, see De Groff and others and go aboard.

Tuesday, July 2nd
Morning fair. Go ashore and do some last errands. Call on Mrs. Emmons. The Topeka sails. About eleven go on board the Dora bid Capt. Couden and the others goodbye - sail on the Dora at 11:45. Go out thro' Salisbury Sound into a rather high sea.

Wednesday, July 3
Morning fair. Fine view of the Fairweather Range. Reach Yakutat about 6 P.M.
