Morning fine, go to Dr. Bromwell's then to S.I. work on Zittell. Home evening read.

Sunday Mar 29th
Day warm & sultry. Finish up slides, read & mother comes in to dine 
Evening, rains

Monday, Mar 30
Morning sultry, cloudy. Go to Geogr. Soc., Bank & S.I. attend to mail, see Mr. Watson, work over Zittell. Home, evening feel miserable with ulcerated tooth. 

Tuesday, Mar. 31
Morning warm. Go to Survey & bank and S.I. work over mail & Zittell, Home, in a good deal of pain & to bed early.

Wednesday, Apr. 1
Morning rainy. Go to office & arrange with Baker to take my lecture. Get

Tuesday July 16/95
Clear and fine with a moderate air. Morning go down to the south end of the island. Find a few erratics but no fossils. Back to lunch. The cutter Grant comes in with Governor Sheakley. They take the men who were crippled in the wreck of the White on their way to Sitka, and leave about 3 P.M. Go up to the lake near Pavloff's to examine reported boulders which prove to be country rock. Evening fog comes in form the eastward.

Wednesday, July 17
Morning close & foggy. Do some writing. Work over packing and fossils. P.M. clears up a little.

Thursday, July 18th
Morning fair. In the forenoon the Kodat returns, all well. Later go over to Kodiak & have a tooth repaired. Lunch with the Whites. Return to Woody Id. P.M. arrange
