Morning feel little better go down to Survey, and see about C.S. chart. Then up to Geogr. Soc. office and then home. P.M. feel very tired.

Sunday, Mar 22
Morning: go over early & see Dr. Bromwell. Rest of day spend in the house.

Monday, Mar. 23
Morning: Go over to Dr. Richardsons & then to S.I. work over routine matters, see Dr. McConnell &c. Home, evening Kennan dines with us, evening read & sleep badly.

Tuesday, Mar. 24
Morning: fair. See Mr. Gibbs about pictures. Go to Geogr. Soc. and see Hayden then to bank and S.I. Attend to mail & routine work. Home. Nettie

Monday, July 22, 1895
Morning, go ashore. B.& P. ascend the volcano. Work along the shore and later go aboard. B. & P. return and we leave the anchorage about 5 P.M. for the harbor behind Chisik Id.

Tuesday, July 23rd
About six A.M. run into the Harbor called Tuxedni by the natives. Go aboard the bark Highland Light belonging to the Kassiloff Cannery Co. Later go ashore at NW head of the harbor and find Cretaceous fossils. Leave the harbor about 3 P.M. for the west & north Forelands. P.M. foggy with a fresh breeze touch the shoal east of Kalgin Id. while at supper but with no bad results.

Wednesday, July 24
Anchor off West Foreland about 4 A.M. to wait for the flood tide. A small village of Kootena Indians
