Morning fair. Write letters, go to S.I. work over Table of formations and Whitfield's Bermuda shells Home, evening, Nettie has friends to play whist.

Friday, Feb. 28
Morning cloudy. Go to S.I. work over Nutting's shells and routine work. Home, evening rains, the Tewkes' call. Nettie goes to pantomime [[insertion]] leave watch at Kares. [[/insertion]]

Saturday, Feb. 29
Weather cloudy with rain. Go to the Dr.'s & then to S.I. work over routine matters and Nuttings shells Home, evening Philosophical Society

Sunday, Mar 1
Morning go over to mother's and then home again. Read most of day

Monday, Mar. 2
Morning. Go to Office, Treasury Moses' and S.I. work on mail

in different parts of the bay getting a few fossils and much information. Don't find Fisher's Ammonites and return to anchorage for the night.

Saturday Aug 3,95
Sail about 4 A.M. for Kialagvit Bay, fair weather with fresh breezes. Arrive about 10.30, a bidarka boards us and the natives pilot us to a point on the inner bay where we land and get lots of fossils. Leave the bay about 1.30 P.M. for Chignik Bay.

Sunday, Aug 4th
Day fair with westerly wind. Arrive in Chignik Bay about 6 A.M. enter the lagoon and go up to the cannery. Here we go ashore, lunch with Mr. Smith and take a stern wheel flat boat for the coal mine returning in a sail boat and sailing from the lagoon about 6 P.M.
