Monday, Feb. 24/96
Morning fair, cloudy. Go to office and to Bureau, then to S.I. via Agric. Dept. Work over mail write letters, see Goode about appointments. Attend to routine & methods. Home, feel quite tired and spend evening reading.

Tuesday, Feb. 25
Morning fair, cooler. Go to S.I. work over mail and routine matters Also Table of formations. Home, evening go to meeting of [[strikethrough]] Geog [[/strikethrough]] Joint Commission. 

Wednesday, Feb. 26
Morning, cloudy, warmer. Go to S.I. work on Table of Formations. Home evening go to the Dillers to meet Mrs. R.S. Woodward.

Monday, Aug. 5/95
Morning foggy with strong winds form the westward. See Cape Kupreanoff about 7 A.M. anchor off Sand Point, in Humboldt Harbor about 2 P.M. Go ashore and find every body gone to Unga where a collier has come in, and so we steam down there and anchor in Delaroff Harbor about by 6.30 P.M. Go ashore and arrange to visit the mines tomorrow. See Dr. Call, deputy collector Thomas, Mr. Bugbee, Hubbley and others and get some late papers and return on board a SE. storm setting in.

Tuesday Aug. 6th.
Morning rainy and stormy. Go ashore after breakfast and walk up to the mine where we meet Capt.
