Sunday, Feb 16/96
Morning, stay in until mother arrives, and with her most of day. Read in evening. 

Monday, Feb. 17th
Morning: fair. Go to S.I. work on mail, later over cards & types. Home, evening, reporter calls. Go to the Merriams for Nettie.

Tuesday, Feb. 18th
Morning: cold, fair. Go to see Dr. Jackson, then to Coast Survey and see Preston & Moses, then to S.I. work over mail & type cards. See Adler about Agassiz. Home feel quite miserable with cold. Write letter to the Sun in evening. 

Wednesday Feb. 19
Morning windy. Go to Survey office & see Willis & Diller then to see Hayden about slides and then to S.I. work on routine & type cards

NW. head of Popoff Strait and run down and look at the rocks at Red Cove. Then back to Sand Point when we go ashore with our luggage get dinner at the hotel and go to bed, after a bath, for the first time since May 21st, anticipating a good nights rest.

Friday, Aug. 9/95
Waked to our disgust at midnight, to go aboard the Dora which has arrived unexpectedly early in a SW gale. Bundle aboard and leave Sand Pt. for Belkofsky about 1.30 A.M. Reach Belkofsky about noon and land supplies then proceed against a SW gale toward Unalashka

Saturday Aug 10/95
Morning fine, with occasional squalls. Proceeding toward Akutan Pass which we reach about 3 P.M. with heavy tide rips. Write letters
