Morning warm, cloudy. Go to office and see Clarke and Rizer then get hair cut + go to S.I. Work over mail and coal rep. Home, evening go the the woman's Anthrop. Soc. meeting at the Thos. Wilson's.

Saturday, Jan. 25
Morning warm, fair. Work over Table of formations then to S.I. work over mail and Coal Report.  Home, evening go to Biol. Soc. meetg

Sunday Jan 26
Morning fair. Go to the Doctors and also to the McGee's and mothers. She comes over to lunch. P.M. I go with Nettie to call on Miss Litchfield, Mrs. Tuckerman, the Winlocks and later to the Pillings.

Monday, Jan 27
Morning fine. Go to S.I. finish Coal Report. Work on mail and spirula. Home, evening read.

Fresh wind & some sea, making good time on our course

Wednesday Aug 28
Smoother, fog later in day. Ship doing well

Thursday, Aug. 29
Day calm foggy. Pass Pt. Reyes at 4:30 P.M. Take pilot off the whistling buoy and anchor off Mission St. Wharf about 9 P.M.  Go ashore on the launch meet Capt Niebaum at the wharf. Go to Occidental Hotel. Send telegram to father Whitney.

Friday, Aug 30
Rise late, Go to Cal. Acad. Sci. but find no letters. Go to the Palace and find Mrs. Becker and back to lunch at the Occidental. Gannett here, see him at his room later also Mark Kerr, Goode and Lieut. Clover, write Nettie, mother
