Morning dull cloudy. Go to S.I. work over mail and coal report. Mr. de Geer calls. See Langley. Home, evening callers.
Saturday, Jan. 11
Morning dull. Go to binders and S.I. work over mail and coal report. Home, evening go to Biol. Society. After meeting visit the Free library.
Sunday, Jan. 12
Morning go to the Doctor's and for mother who lunches with us. P.M. read. Mr. Willis call in evening
Monday, Jan 13
Morning cloudy. Go to S.I. work on routine matters & coal report. Home, evening go to annual meeting of the club.
Tuesday. Jan. 14
Morning fair cool. Go to S.I. and work on mail & coal

then see Jordan, Gilbert and Woodruff, return to town very tired at 7 P.M. after dinner write letters and early to bed
Friday. Sept. 6/95
Morning go to the Academy and see Dr. Harkness, then see about tickets. After lunch get tickets repack trunk and write letters. Dine with Dr. H. at the Pacific Union Club  Later call on the Jennings & then back to the hotel.
Saturday Sept. 7
Morning, go to Jennings office, pack and go to the Academy for letters, see Dr Le Conte, back to lunch see Garnett, then to State mining Bureau and get statistics then to hotel. Take 5.00 oclock train for Livermore and then to Dr Hammonds
Sunday Sept. 8th
Day windy with some fog. "Loaf and invite my soul"
Monday Sept 9th
Fair. windy. Write letters. Read
