Dear Friends,
Burpees' seeds have done much for me. In the first place , my real interest in gardening was awakened when I harvested my first crop of Fordhook celery. Everyone raved about it. That, alone, established my prestige.

Secondly, in Otsego county truck gardening has many adverse conditions; but your seeds are so true to type and sure of germination that I'm able to take first rank among competitors. For instance, onions, peppers and cauliflower had never been grown successfully, in our neighborhood, until I tried your varieties.
