What Burpee's Seeds Have Done For Me.

I buy all my flower and garden seeds from Burpee, because I know they will grow and be true to name.

I am not able to do hard work on account of poor health; but I get much pleasure working with my flowers and garden, besides a little profit from the sale of vegetables and flowers.

In the spring I sell plants of the following varieties of flowers and vegetables; Burpees Asters and Pansies, Tomato: Chalks Early Jewel, Cabbage: Copenhagen Market and Danish Ballhead, Cauliflower: Burpees Best Early, Pepper: Chinese Giant, Celery: Golden Self-blanching and Fordhook

I always recommend Burpees seeds to my customers.

People come from all parts of the city to see and admire my flowers. Everyone stops to admire your Mastodon Pansies and marval at their beauty and large size.

I won first prize on Best Display of Cut Flowers every year for the last five years, at our County Fair. I also won first on Burpees Asters, Gladiolus, Sweet-peas and Dahlias. Won first prize three years on Chalks Early Jewel tomato; also first prizes on Burpees Golden Hubbard Squash, Carrots, Prize-taker and Danvers Onions, Copenhagen Market and Danish Ballhead Cabbage.
