Now, in the midst of the canning season, I can see the embodiment of sunshine in the ruddy beets and tomatoes, and feel the lure of the soil in the green of the wholesome sauerkraut, beans and cucumbers, ranged in their winter quarters on the pantry shelves ready for their mission of brightening gloomy days.
Thus do Burpee's seeds live and grow in diverse ways.
