Sir

Flowers and vegetables have won us an easy first at Waterloo Fair, Que. that adds to ones [[underlined]] Pride. [[/underlined]] Living in England all my life I missed the flowers in Canada, so, knowing I would make no mistake, I purchased your seeds, and have succeeded so far in making a little bit of Heaven this side of the Atlantic that makes [[underlined]] Happiness. [[/underlined]]

Our vegetable garden is doing well, we expect [[underlined]] Profit. [[/underlined]] The twenty four varieties of Sweet Peas and as many other varieties of flowers all in blossom, give to ourselves, and others [[underlined]] Pleasure. [[/underlined]]
The work of planning, and choosing from Burpees Catalogue give [[underlined]] Recreation [[/underlined]]

The actual labour of weeding etc makes ones back ache but give [[underlined]] Health [[/underlined]]

Our lovely garden brings other things besides flowers. Butterflies, Humming Birds, Bees, as lovely as the flowers themselves, are all around, which bring one very near the Creator which is Love.

All these things Burpee's Seeds have done for us this year.

Yours Truly
Mrs A. Strahan.
