For Prize Contest.

For thirty years, and I know not how much longer, Burpee's Seeds have had absolute monopoly of our garden.

The arrival of the Annual is always hailed with joy, and, though our order of staple vegetables is almost identical year after year, so well satisfied are we, many happy winter evenings are spent in poring over its pages.

The children are permitted to make selections for their own planting and Burpee's Seeds have given all of them a love for gardening.

Vegetables form a large part of our menus at all times which we believe accounts for the fine complexions and bright eyes about our table. During War times meatless days held no terrors for us, and meatless meals are still of frequent occurrence.

Thuogh not fancy gardeners, we have won quite considerable sums of money in prizes at our county fair for vegetables and flowers and one of my greatest pleasures is to be able to respond to frequent request ^[[s]] for flowers for all neighborhood occasions.

To sum up: What Burpee's Seeds have done for us is to have given us food, pleasure, health, profit and the joy of sharing with friends.
