[[underline]] FOR PRIZE CONTEST [[/underline]]

107 West Chester St.,
Kingston, N. Y.
Aug. 9, 1924.

W. Atlee Burpee Co.,
Seed Growers,
Philadelphia, Pa.

Gentlemen:

Perhaps what I am about to write deals more with what Burpee's Seeds have done for my neighbors than myself, for I have long known the value Burpee's Seeds, from relatives who live on a farm.

I began gardening with a War Garden. My next neighbor began a garden at the same time and she, too, uses Burpee's Seeds because I do.

Aside from the delight of having delicious vegetables, fresh from the garden, I take pleasure in watching the developement of the seeds, from the time the plants break through the ground. Members of my family say, "If they cant find me in the house, they look for me in the garden."

Burpee's Stringless Green Pod Beans are wonderful, and at the height of bearing, I can them for winter use. After that, each time I pick all that are large enough, and give away the surplus, and by doing so find that they bear all summer.

After giving away Golden Bantam Corn, I have had people ask me to sell them some, as it was the sweetest and most tender corn they had ever eaten.

Respectfully submitted,
