Washington, Nov. 1st 1881

Sir,
I have the honor to report that, since my last statement (Aug. 2nd 18881), 619 specimens, from the Chinese Collection of Drugs, have been catalogued, bottled and provided with temporary labels.
In addition to this, the labor has been undertaken of compiling, from the Official Pharmacopoeias, a list of all the articles of the Materia Medica, and the authorized preparations of each -

Very respectfully
Your obedient servant
J. M. Flint.
