WHAT BURPEE'S SEEDS HAVE DONE FOR ME

"BURPEE'S SEEDS GROW" -- More truth was never contained in three words; while quality and quick service could also be a part of the Burpee slogan.

I have bought seeds of the Burpee Company for more than thirty-five years and have always found both the firm and their goods most satisfactory.

The annual arrival of the Burpee catalog in winter is a pleasant incident, and seems like a herald of spring, sending our thoughts and plans garden-ward while the earth is still slumbering under a blanket of snow.

While all the seed has given both pleasure and profit, the sweet peas have been my greatest joy. Year after year the planting of the Burpee sweet peas has been almost a sacred rite, and their care one of my first duties. The reward has been an abundance of the most beautiful flowers, and when I send a bowl of them for any special occasion people always seem to recognize them as coming from my garden.

My flowers have gone to hospital and sanitorium and have also graced many joyful occasions. Thus I have passed on the pleasure they have been to me.

Burpee's sweet peas have been a little bit of heaven in my life.
