of seventy people.

Five years ago I was taken ill and after three years of Doctors ^[[insert]]and nurses [[/insert]] care I was about normal except weak and lost ambition to take up life's work. I turned to Burpee's seed and we put in our garden again and I gradually gained strength until now I can have my old time gardens again. The pleasure one gets from a well kept plot is a real inspiration. Why it is a real recreation for we farm woman if we will let it be.
I count the [[strike]] financal aid [[/strike]] profit from such a [[strike]]isa [[/strike]] three ways. First it supplies or table with vegetables, fruit and flowers. Second the surplus often brings in a tidy sum that we appreciate now as never before. and last but not least the entire satisfaction and real enjoyment one obtains by dividing with ones neighbors and the real wonder of watching the growing and developing of the plants.

I sure would urge all farm housekeepers or any [[writing over struck word ]] one [[/writing over struck word]] who has access to a plot of ground to make it yield to its full capacity.
