"WHAT BURPEE'S SEEDS HAVE DONE FOR ME"

We moved into a new home July 7th, 1923, finding the grounds a tangle of weeds, waist high. It was then too late to do more than mow off the weeds, but later we spaded up the garden, and flower beds. This spring by planting Burpee's seeds we had the earliest and best garden in the neighborhood, and a flower bed which attracts the attention of everyone. Since June 15th we have had fresh vegetables, the first Blue Bantam Peas being served July 4th. I have twenty-two different phlox from one packet of seed, more to open, and dahlia plants from seeds as large as those from tubers.

Burpee's seeds have been the means of restoring my health following an operation; have furnished fresh vegetables [[strikethrough]][[/strikethrough]] at a saving of at least $10.00; supplied flowers for ourselves and neighbors; given us the satisfaction of knowing that by a little time and labor at only slight expense we have transformed a weed patch, into the most attractive place on the street, increasing the value of the property at least $1000.00 we are told. We tell everyone the credit for the transformation belongs to Burpee's seeds, [[underline]]THEY GROW[[/underlined]]
