"Burpee's" seeds have made me a better house wife and a better citizen.

The time I might have spent uselessly has been turned to profit and enjoyment by my garden, planted with "Burpee's" seeds.

My first attempts at gardening were so discouraging that I was tempted to put the garden into lawn. I had not learned the value of buying good seeds, and my efforts were wasted, and my patience spent.

But one day I saw a garden much as I had dreamed of, and found that the seeds came from "Burpee's". Now my garden too is a delight, and what pleasure it is to adorn your home with flowers and to serve fresh foods, and say: "These came from my own garden."

"Burpee's" seeds have made me a better citizen for I believe that love for your country must spring from the very land itself, and what better way is there to know that land, than to sacrifice some of your time each day, making your country more lovely to live in.

When my friends ask "Where do you get your seeds?" I know I can answer "Burpee's" with the assurance that time spent cultivating their seeds, will not be wasted.
