"What Burpee's seeds have done for me"

When a Burpee Catalog fell into my hands four years ago, I had no idea what a slave it would make of me. 

I never planted a seed before. 

Today I have a garden of sixty varieties almost entirely from Burpee's seeds. 

I would rather would in the garden among the flowers and birds than anything else. 

There is a joy to gardening which never grows old a creative joy, a reward, and a pleasure and joy when I gather and give away the fruits of my labors.
