What Burpee's Seeds have done for me.

In February the anual Catalogue of "Burpee Co" comes by mail, and while the winter is with us, a longing comes to get out to dig and plant.

We order about $3.[[underlined 00 [[underlined]] worth of well assorted varieties of seeds, Send amount, receiving promptly package by mail and we are ready for Spring.

One pint of "Alaska" peas, an early dependable variety, planted in March, before last snow storm, grow well and produce enough for our family and some for friends. Then a Second planting of same in 2 weeks.

In April - Radish - (Fr. Breakfast.) Lettuce, (Wayhead) Beets (Crosby's Egyptian) Carrots - (Danvers Half-Long) Parsley (Early Dwarf) and Beans - (Burpee's Stringless) are planted, all with fertilizer in the seed rows.

In a few weeks we get results that pay for the work Corn (Golden Bantam) Squash (Crookneck) Pumpkin (Big Tom) Bush and Pole Limas are planted in May.

One plat 25 X 50, planning to limit my Vegetables To certain few varieties yearly, I can be independent of stores, cut cost down considerably and enjoy the benefits.

I find seeds purchased from W. Atlee Burpee Co. give better results than any others I have tried in former years.
