What Burpee Seeds [[right half underlined]] Have [[first 2 letters underlined]] Done for me.
________________

In the summer of 1914 I started as an amateur gardener and bought seeds at the grocery store as did my neighbors, but had no marked success. The garden looked nice, but did not bear as well as I thought it should, so the following year I purchased a different brand of seeds at the same store, with no better results.

I was nearly discouraged when a friend suggested I try Burpee Seeds which I did, with such astonish-ing results I at once became an enthusiastic gardener. Many of my neighbors were under the impression that Burpee seeds were high-priced, but by the end of the season they were convinced that they were the cheapest in the long run, as my garden is always voted best and earliest in the neighborhood and the quality of the vegetables cannot be equaled.

I feel that besides owing my success as a gardener entirely to Burpee Seeds, I have been greatly benefitted in health by working in the open air.

We are now enjoying (Aug 10) Burpee's Golden Bantam corn, Burpee's Extra Early Potatoes, Tomatoes, Cucumbers Etc.

Anyone with a little ambition and a sand pile can grow good vegetables with Burpee's Seeds.
