To sit in the garden in the evening and enjoy the fragarent Nicotianna, Heliotrople, Migonette,  Cleome, & Verbena, and watch the humming-bird  -  the lady-bird, feed on my lovly flowers it gives me great pleasure. Unless we have flowers we do not

see natures beauties like the butterflies & humming-birds, & do not realisize the wonders unless we plant the tiny seed & bulbs and watch them send forth beautiful flowers. In the fall I fill my windows with blooming plants from my garden, and await the coming of springtime
