Dear Friend Burpee:-

In writing in "The Prize Contest," What Burpee's Seeds have done for me" it seemed to call for considerable personal history which in turn seems to me to require some verification; and to that end I am enclosing five "snap shots." showing the progress of evolution to "The Ideal House." showing what even amateurs can do, that work sympathetically with nature. I will enclose stamps for their return. To give you an idea of the character of the "Idealist" - The late Mrs Lowes - I am sending you an obituary notice, written by Mr Rob't [[?]] Drenovan; then Editor of the Yorkton Press, an intimate acquaintance of ours. "As others see us." But I fear that I weary you, Pardon me.

Good success to the life ^work of W. Atlee Burpee & co.

I am Yours Sincerely

T. H. Lowes
