What Burpee's Seeds Have Done for me

When I was a child Burpee's Farm Annual was a regular and welcome visitor at our home. To me it was most fascinating, a messenger of hope of harvest, joy of anticipation and faith to plant liberally of "Seeds that Grow" Faith that grew greater each year as the hope of bountiful harvest was realized.

The business integrity that dominated the House of Burpee could not fail to be an influence for good on a youthful mind that was enthralled with the beautiful pictures and truthful descriptions with which the Silent Salesman was filled. By planting Burpee's seed and following their cultural directions, I have had successful gardens even under very adverse weather, justifying my faith in their slogan that "Burpee's Seeds Grow."

I found it much easier to transcribe this very light handwriting when I inverted the color scheme of my computer. Reading the white on black was much easier.
