FOR PRIZE CONTEST

A song I sing of Burpee's seed
Which always grows and fills each need
It's brought me happiness indeed I'm freed ?
From nerve collapse.

My garden makes my heart more glad
Snapdragon and asters are my fad
Dahlias and Iris are chosen for Dad
Who swears by Burpee's

Dad's garden, full of seeds from Burpee
Makes him boastful, proud and chirpy
He says you have the finest Murphy
That ever grew.

Gibralter [sic] onions, Egyptian beets,
Chantenay carrots - all good and sweet,
Kohl-rabi, parsnips, in rows so neat
Are his delight.

Roses, petunias, coleus, phlox,
Daffodils, tulips, hollyhocks,
Columbine, larkspur, Sweet William and stocks
Are all from Burpee's.

So I sing a song of Burpee's seed
For four generations it has filled each need.
We've ne'er had a garden without Burpee's seed.
That's what it has done for us.
