During the month of April no specimens were received.

Labels are still being prepared.

Proof sheets of the new catalogue of this collection, together with proofs of some of the labels, have been corrected and returned to the printer.

Experiments on the influence of mammalian blood of different temperatures on the rate of beat and the work done by the heart of the Slider Terrapin - Pseudemys rugosa, are now completed, and as soon as manuscript is finished, it will be submitted to the Ass't. Director, for publication in the Museum Proceedings.
