After rains it is fairly common in small nests beneath stones in shady places. Active in life.

In ground beneath edge of stone.

Myrmecina   Taviuni

The large colony was found beneath a rather deeply imbedded stone in company with the small [[strikethrough]] red [[/strikethrough]] yellow camponotine & a single specimen of Steminglings.

Colony beneath bark with [[female symbol]] & larvae. Another colony next day in same situation.

Phirdole? Thick, black
Four soldiers & workers with [[strikeout]] same [[/strikeout]] above ant. Very slow in it's movements. Lasema.
