In high trees. Not bristly
Many without ants, but with scorpions, myriapods & spiders.
No definite ant in them but many species.
Used in "dran ni kan"
Nasoqu. Jan.
Twenty [[strikethrough]] nests [[strikethrough]] examined. Several Pheidole colonies. One black Camponotus; many empty. One with four gecko eggs

Small Myrmicine, nests in very small colonies in small pockets in damp earth beneath or between stones in the bush.

Pheidole. Found beneath stones in damp places. Very sluggish.

Myrmicine. Mr Friend pointed to a clay turret & [[strikethrough]] point [[strikethrough]] said it was an ant nest. I dug in and found the single worker. Doubt it's making the turret.

Ponerine. Large colony, beneath a stone in a small pocket. The pocket was an inch and a half in diameter and two thirds of an inch deep and
