123 November 7, Though this was Saturday it has been a day of rather close work until about tea time when Dorothy and Peter and I walked up to Miles' to show off the pup. It was quite a walk for such short legs as Pepers but he has so much pep and such a delightful sense of adventure that he refused to show any sign of weariness. She is soon to go home and wishes to take some things with her which home folks will appreciate. She liked our Hangchow rubbings exceedingly and as always I loved showing the pictures and things we both love. This evening we went with Violet and Tom Ennis, Margaret and Clem Ruby to see the Denishawn Dancers who are on a world tour and are giving three nights to Peking audiences. It seemed to us a very good
