   During the year ending June, 30, 1892, the labelling of specimens and illustrations of plants &c., in the exhibit, was completed. [[line drawn to signify continuing sentence with next paragraph]] Several specimens that had deteri^[[or]]ated were replaced by good examples. [[line drawn to signify continuing sentence with next paragraph]] Fruitless efforts were made to identify some of the vegetable specimens presented to the Museum.  Their accompanying history being meagre and essential characteristics absent, a satisfactory recognition was impossible.
