Went to Fugates hill section where a long sequence is exposed along the road to Mendata over Clinch Mtn. Collecting very poor in OHosee.
Returned to Tumbey and here found Red beds of Blackford overlain by limestones with the Blocky chert. These contained also many Mimella. Above came ls. with Sowerbyites and then ls with Dinorthis atavoides. No typical Lenoir was seen but the upper part of the Blocky chert zone
