The Ridley above the Pierce is very heavy bedded ls. about 35 - 40' thick Lower beds crowded with a small Opikina and also Camerella. Upper beds here with Gonioceras and Endoceras, also Maclurites The rock is brownish gray with Camerocladia-like or worm markings which weather yellowish. Ridley weathers ash-gray. Stromatocericun in small heads, often upside down. Cooper likens this Ridley section to Upper cherty Benbolt. Dystactospongia is fairly common.

1/2 mile East of Readyville on US 70 S. On road at bend granular, massive layer with Cryptophragmus. This bed occurs on hillside 150 yds south of highway. [[strikethrough]] Bed [[/strikethrough]] Cryptophragmus bed about 3' thick. Above Cryptophragmus occurs platy ls with abundant Sowerbyella. 20' above Cryptophragmus comes the Doleroides bed, the same as at Fairview Station at Rome. About 25' of play ls. with Cameroclodia occurs
