Sowerbyella is very abundant just above Cryptophragmus
0.8 mo. East of Readyville at junction with dirt road saw a section of Carters showing about 65' of rock. Lower beds massive and with Tetradium cellulosum. A Bentonite comes 30 - 35' below top and under it we saw Strophomena, Streptelasma, Zygospira.
Above the Bentonite the beds are more thin-bedded and varied with some coarse granular ls., dove ls., and some hard silty or dolomitic beds in appearance.
The base of the Carters comes 25' +- above the Doleroides zone of the upper Lebanon.
