At Rye Cove, Carters barn locality, shaly rocks form a bluff just down hill from the fossil bed at the barn. In the lower part of this bluff Benbolt fossils appear. Furthermore Williams found Strophomens, like S. tennesseensis just down road from west angle of triangle opposite garage.
