West end of Quarry on west side anticline.

At west end quarry Laysburg base not found but rock answering to Clover appears near base and for 30 - 40'. Grazier is present in massive blocks separated by shale partings and abounding in massive Tetradium, large Opikina, Strophomena, Mimella and Glyptorthis. No Hostler seen at west end. Grazier often coarsely granular. Tetrasium often makes [[?]] in shaly partings. The Tetradium beds are the Eyer fm. of Kay.

On the east limb of the synchine the Hostler abounds in fossils. "Opikina and true Strophomena are common. It strongly suggest the Ridley to me.
