Dear Sirs,

Both pleasure and profit have come to me through the use of Burpee's seeds. 

Being housewife and mother of a growing family, and living in a rented house on a small lot, there was little chance for growing flowers or vegetables until we bought our home five years ago. 

Wishing to improve the place we planned a vegetable garden and plenty of flowers.

A sister advised Burpee's seeds as the best, so we used them with fine results. 

Few pleasures equal that of coming out on a fresh, dewy morning and finding how much the garden has grown overnight. Each new leaf, bud and flower brings a message of joy. 

Then, too, there is profit as well. Our little plot helps much in keeping the table in fresh vegetables. Our big successes have been with Alaska Peas, Golden Bautarn
