When the cosmos began to bloom the collection contained the white, pink, red and cerise anemone flowered, also the giant white, pink red and cerise single flowered.

We plant our flower seeds in the garden so as to be easily cultivated, and for this good care give us armloads of flowers to give to our friends, for the home and school. How I love to meet the school children at the gate with a big bouquet for the school room and the smiles from my little friends repay me many times for the labor in cultivating the plants grown from Burpee's Seeds which never fail me. Our garden provides us with vegetables from early spring until frost with a generous outlay in the cellar for winter use.
