Any great movement - and this seems more true in agriculture and in home making, makes its advancement by evolutionary rather then revolutionary processes. Progress rarely comes by flashes, but by steady growth. The better we know a friend the more trust we put in him. When we buy seeds that we know are reliable, we know our crop is sure. It is with a feeling of great pride that I can say, "Yes I planted Burpee's Seeds I know my garden & my flowers will be a success. One of my friends told me once "Your garden & flowers tell me a wonderful story, a story of faith & loyalty. And I answered her Yes, they are all Burpee's seeds & they have restored my faith in some of mankind. They seem like human pictures, my beautiful pansies with their beautiful uplifted faces. In my cellar are many jars filled with good things from my Burpee garden, & before the season ends there will be many more. Not in dollars & cents could I tell what Burpees seeds have done for me, but they have given me better health, have learned me many a lesson, they have taught me that there is still honesty & reliability left. They have caused me to brighten many places. A person without a garden is missing something sublime. Therefore they have restored to me the Hope of a life eternal.
